Introduction - Meet James, the Founder of Fit For Birth and the proud papa who began his career in pre & postnatal fitness while expecting his own child!

The 5 Foundations of Health - Learning from our Ancestors. Unless we understand how we got here, today’s birthing culture makes it impossible to make the best choices going forward. Come with us on a journey through time to learn about the leaps forward in birth and the missteps along the way. What we can tell you about this history is that it isn’t always pretty, but knowledge is power - and prenatal empowerment, is our mission.

This section will familiarize you with the common medical procedures in birth, C-sections, episiotomies, and pain relief. We will take a look at the current global landscape and compare trends to better understand the importance of choice during childbirth.

Common Pregnancy Considerations- Hormones, Temperature, and Heart Beats. What’s normal and what’s cause for concern. We believe that women are their best advocates and this course will give you the knowledge to better understand and communicate with your birth professionals throughout your pregnancy and delivery experiences.

Movement- Why is exercise important during pregnancy? Did you know that moms who move more during their pregnancy see increased health outcomes in their babies? They also enjoy the reduced risk of medical and surgical interventions during birth.

The disempowered, incapable picture of the pregnant woman is a relic of the past. Today we know that healthy prenatal women are strong, capable and fit and we can help you get there.
