Michelle Luongo is a Certified Personal Training Specialist and Pre & Post Natal Corrective Exercise Specialist from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has always had a passion for health and fitness, while raising her two children has been her primary focus and priority.
Michelle experienced the difference between her recovery from a natural childbirth and a C-section. She explained that when taking the PPCES, “I actually learned more than I thought I would. During my last pregnancy, my delivery did not go as planned. In short, it caused some post traumatic stress, which within a month after delivery cause some major food intolerances. It took me over a year and a half to finally sort everything out. After taking this course, I finally had a clear understanding of why this happened.”
Her dream is “To help make a difference in other people’s lives, so that they don’t have to go through what I went through. I want to be able to be there for my pre and postnatal clients mentally, physically, and emotionally.”
Since completing the PPCES course, Michelle has started her own business called Mom Body and Soul, embracing “a holistic approach to fitness and health.” She offers sessions in-home and in-business and says “This course has definitely been an asset in building clientele. It was the best thing that I did to support my Personal Training Certification. The sections on breathing, corrective exercise and meditation really opened my eyes to the bigger picture of health and wellness for both men and women. It also gave me the answers to the type of trainer that I want to be for my clients.”
Michelle plans to continue educating herself so that she can be the best trainer possible for her clients, and ultimately sees herself opening her own facility designed to accommodate a wide variety of needs. “I want to help change lives. From kids to seniors, I want to help them all achieve their best health.”
